Accessibility statement
Last updated: October 28, 2026
filmforlife wants everyone to be able to use the site and the service, including people with disabilities. This statement describes how accessible the site is, what was checked and when, what is still not accessible, and how to contact us.
1. Level of accessibility
We aim for the site to meet Israeli Standard 5568, level AA, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Services) Regulations, 5773-2013.
The check described here was carried out by us, with an automatic tool and by hand, and it is not a substitute for a check by a certified accessibility expert. We therefore do not declare that the site fully meets the standard. We declare that it was checked against it and that the gaps found are listed in this statement.
2. What was checked and when
The latest check: 28 October 2026.
- Pages: the home page, the guides, the terms of use, the privacy policy, the sign-in page and this statement, in Hebrew and in English.
- Devices: a phone (390 pixels wide) and a computer (1280 pixels wide).
- Tools: axe-core against the WCAG 2.0 level A and AA rules, and manual checks of keyboard navigation, focus indicator, colour contrast, form labels, text alternatives for images and videos, writing direction (right to left in Hebrew, left to right in English), text enlargement and pausing videos.
3. Adjustments made
- A "Skip to main content" link at the start of every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear focus outline.
- Labels on all form fields, and error messages that are announced to screen readers.
- Text alternatives for images and a written description of the demonstration videos.
- A button to pause the looping videos on the home page. Visitors who set "reduce motion" on their system get the videos paused.
- Colour contrast at the required level, and a fix for the components that failed the check.
- Pop-up windows built on the browser's own dialog element: focus stays inside them and they close with the Escape key.
- The cookie notice does not block the site, and all its choices can be reached with the keyboard.
4. Known gaps
- Screens that need sign-in (uploading photos, the order page, the account) were checked by reading the code and partly by hand, not fully with an automatic tool.
- The payment page is hosted by an external provider (Lemon Squeezy). Its accessibility and language are not under our control, and it is not shown in Hebrew. If you find it hard to use, contact us on WhatsApp and we will help you complete the order.
- The demonstration clips and films have no sound, so they need no captions or transcript; there is a written description of the visual content of the full demonstration film.
- The films made for customers are videos created with artificial intelligence, with no captions and no audio description.
- The guides on the site are available in Hebrew only.
- We have not tested with a real screen reader (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack), only with automatic tools and by hand.
