What is The Grandparents' Gift Film?
It is one continuous film made from your own photos. Instead of one picture fading into the next, the person walks out of one photo and into the next, so the film moves from a baby photo to a first day of school to today in one smooth line.
It opens with a card that carries their name and the date, and it comes in widescreen for the TV plus a vertical version for sharing.

Your first transition is usually ready in a few minutes. The full film is made after you pay, and we email you the moment it is ready. We do not promise an exact time yet, so if you have a date in mind, start early.

A transition that does not show the person moving from one scene to the next (for example a sharp jump or a person who changed) is remade free of charge. If, even after remaking, the film does not match its description, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will refund the payment, in full or in part, as appropriate. Read the refund policy
The film is made to order from your photos and starts being made right after payment (usually within minutes). Until production starts: cancel for a full refund. Once production has started you cannot cancel, because the film is made specially for you; if it does not match the description we will remake it free of charge or refund you. Senior citizens (65 and over), people with disabilities and new immigrants who made the purchase after a conversation with our representative may also cancel within 4 months, subject to the exceptions in the law. Yes. Upload your photos, pick two, and we make the first transition for you to watch before you pay anything. It carries a watermark and is for viewing only, and there is one free transition per email address.
How many photos do I need?
From 13 photos up. Each extra photo adds about 5 seconds to the film. Pick them in the order you want them to play, from earliest to latest. Vertical photos are fine; we widen them to landscape.
Is it made with AI?
Yes. The transitions are made with AI from your own photos, and every one goes through a quality process designed by people before you get your film.
What if I do not like it?
A transition that does not show the person moving from one scene to the next is remade free of charge. If the film still does not match its description after we remade it, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will refund the payment, in full or in part, as appropriate.
